Mission Statement:
MeetCleveland is a blog focusing on entrepreneurship in Cleveland, Ohio. The focus is on business ideas that can be taken national. Local business are great, but they won’t breathe life into the region in general. My goal is to share news and ideas that will help to generate excitement, encourage start-ups, and drive business growth in Cleveland. I believe that Cleveland has great potential and would like to help it realize that potential.
About Me:
My name is Aaron Sakowski. I grew up in Cleveland, received my B.S. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University, and had my first several jobs in Cleveland. A year ago I moved to the west coast. I currently live in Palo Alto, CA. My goal is to experience a successful entrepreneurial environment first hand with the goal of using my learnings to aid my home town. I work for eBay as an Information Engineer. It has been an excellent learning experience and hopefully I will be able to translate my success here into positive new business ideas for Cleveland.
